Dr. Castagno is the founder and working veterinarian behind Adsum Veterinary Relief, PLLC.
With a passion for lifelong learning and commitment to the well-being of patients, clients and colleagues, she brings empathy and quality care to every hospital she serves.
An internship-trained graduate of Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Castagno is a practitioner of evidence-based general practice, urgent care, and emergency medicine. She is Fear Free and upper GI endoscopy certified (CSU). With a career-long dedication to communication and cultural competency, Dr. Castagno ensures clients and colleagues feel comfortable, respected, and cared for. Although gold standard care is always her goal, commitment to accessibility and years of experience providing care to financially constrained communities has also led to expertise in option-based medicine.
Dr. Castagno strives to support a sustainable and joyful veterinary profession for all. Through Adsum, she provides relief services that alleviate workload burden, facilitate work-life balance, and improve mental health within the veterinary field. Her compassionate approach and efficiency have made her a trusted partner for hospitals across Washington and New Mexico.
